Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Accountant to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful financial management and reporting. They should have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and be well-versed in accounting software systems. We are willing to consider an immigrant for this position. No experience is necessary.

Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records using approved accounting principles, procedures, and techniques
• Prepare monthly financial reports for internal and external stakeholders including budgets, cash flow statements, profit and loss accounts, balance sheets and other reports as required
• Analyze variances from budgeted figures and investigate discrepancies
• Reconcile accounts with external suppliers/customers for payments and receivables
• Follow up on accounts receivable aging items to ensure timely payments
• Prepare payrolls, tax returns and other related documents in compliance with applicable laws
• Monitor cash flow against budgeted figures to ensure availability of funds for business operations
• Provide guidance to staff on matters relating to accounting policies, procedures & regulations
• Liaise with auditors during annual reviews of company accounts

Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is preferred but not necessary
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) standards
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications (especially Excel)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
