Land Surveyor (Al Shamkhah City)

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Land Surveyor to join our survey team in Al Shamkhah City. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate measurements and assessments of land, using both traditional surveying techniques and modern technology. The position offers a salary of 1100. We welcome applications from immigrant candidates.

The main duties and responsibilities of the Land Surveyor include:
• Visiting survey sites to identify boundaries, assess features, take measurements, and collect data
• Using GPS systems, theodolites, and other surveying equipment to measure angles, distances, elevations, slopes etc.
• Interpreting aerial photographs to identify features that are not easily visible on the ground
• Preparing detailed surveys and maps of land parcels using appropriate software programs
• Assessing land characteristics such as terrain type, vegetation cover etc.
• Consulting with clients to ensure that their requirements are met in the most efficient manner possible
• Examining existing maps for discrepancies or errors in measurement or data entry

The ideal candidate should have:
• A degree/diploma in Surveying or equivalent qualifications
• Excellent knowledge of mathematics and trigonometry principles
• Expertise in using GPS systems as well as advanced survey equipment such as Total Stations etc. • Proven experience working with relevant software packages such as AutoCAD or Surfer etc. • Good communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and clients • A keen eye for detail and accuracy • A valid driver’s license is preferred but not essential
