Job Requirements & Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or Nutrition Science
- At least 3 years of experience as a dietitian in a healthcare setting
- Excellent knowledge of food related health issues and nutrition principles
- Ability to provide nutritional counseling and education to patients/clients
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients/patients
Job Responsibilities:
- Developing individualized nutrition plans according to patients' needs and medical conditions, taking into account cultural preferences.
- Assessing the nutritional status of patients/clients by collecting information on eating habits, nutritional knowledge, and other relevant factors.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of nutrition plans by conducting follow up assessments.
- Collaborating with doctors, nurses, other healthcare professionals such as psychologists or psychiatrists about patient's dietary needs.
