Job Title: Accountant
Location: Dubai, UAE
Salary: 1300 AED/month

Requirements for the Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting
- Proficient in MS Office software, particularly in Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and finance principles
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written) is a must; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial records using accounting software (QuickBooks)
- Prepare monthly financial statements including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements etc.
- Monitor daily cash flow activities and ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Reconcile bank accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of records
- Prepare payments through banking channels for invoices/salaries/expenses etc. - Ensure compliance with all legal requirements regarding taxes, audit regulations etc. - Supervise Accounts Payable staff activities if applicable - Provide support during internal/external audits - Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or trends that need further investigation - Generate various ad hoc reports as required by the management
