Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Sommelier to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in a similar position and be able to provide the highest quality service to our guests. The Sommelier will be responsible for managing all aspects of wine service and selection, as well as providing recommendations and advice on food and beverage pairings.

Key Responsibilities:
•Provide excellent customer service in recommending wine selections that pair nicely with meals
•Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of wines from around the world
•Responsible for ordering, receiving, inventorying and storing wines
•Develop wine list with selections that will appeal to guests
•Assist with menu design to ensure food & beverage pairings are complementary
•Provide guidance on responsible alcohol consumption
Qualifications:
•At least 1 year of sommelier experience in a fine dining restaurant or similar setting
•Sommelier certification preferred but not required
•Knowledge of different varieties of wines from around the world
•Excellent customer service skills with an engaging personality
•Ability to think on your feet when faced with difficult customer requests or concerns

Salary: 1000 per month
