Job Title: Cashier - Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are seeking an experienced Cashier to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of all cash transactions in our store.

The ideal candidate must have prior experience working as a cashier in a retail or customer service setting. They should also have excellent numeracy skills and be able to handle large sums of money with accuracy. The successful candidate should also possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with customers from a variety of backgrounds. Fluency in English is essential for this role.

Primary responsibilities include:
• Process payments from customers using cash, credit/debit cards, or other approved methods of payment
• Issue receipts for payments received
• Count and verify the accuracy of all cash received
• Balance daily takings with sales records to ensure accuracy of accounts
• Ensure that all transactions are correctly recorded by using established procedures
• Assist customers with queries related to their purchases or accounts
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as required
• Assist colleagues when needed to ensure smooth operations in the store

We prefer candidates who are nationals of India or Malayalees, however we welcome applications from candidates of all nationalities. Accommodation will not be provided as part of this role.
