Job Summary
Optometrist – Abu Dhabi
We are looking for a highly-skilled Optometrist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should possess excellent diagnostic skills, be able to provide comprehensive eye care services and have an interest in keeping up to date with the latest developments in the field. We offer a competitive salary of 1400 AED per month. Candidates must be willing to consider immigrating.

Responsibilities
• Perform complete eye exams and vision tests
• Diagnose vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and presbyopia
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses and other vision aids
• Educate patients on proper care of contact lenses, glasses and vision aids
• Monitor patients’ eye health over time
• Refer patients to ophthalmologists for more serious conditions or surgery
• Keep accurate patient records in accordance with laws and regulations

Qualifications & Requirements
• Degree in optometry from an accredited program
• Licensed optometrist in Abu Dhabi or eligible for licensure
• At least two years of experience as an optometrist
• Knowledge of current standards of care in optometry
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to assess visual acuity problems accurately
