As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating excavating machinery such as backhoes or bulldozers to dig trenches or holes for drainage systems, foundations or other construction projects. Your job duties will also include cleaning up excavated material, verifying the depth of excavation with survey equipment, maintaining machine parts in order to ensure proper functioning, and ensuring safety standards are met at all times.

To be successful in this role you must have experience operating excavators and other heavy machinery as well as knowledge of safety regulations related to excavation projects. You must also possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Additionally, having a valid driver’s license is highly desirable for this role.
