Job Description:
The painter will be responsible for the preparation of surfaces prior to painting, application of finishes such as paint, varnish, or wallpaper, as well as any other tasks related to painting. The painter will also ensure that all surfaces and materials are properly prepared before painting and that all finishing work meets industry standards. The painter should be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The painter should also have strong problem solving skills as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.

Required Skills:
- Experience in surface preparation prior to painting
- Ability to mix paint colors according to specifications
- Knowledge of different types of paints and finishes
- Ability to read blueprints or instructions from contractors or clients
- Proficient in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, etc
- Attention to detail when completing finishing work
