Sommelier job in Dubai UAE


We are a high-end restaurant in Dubai looking for an experienced Sommelier to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive wine knowledge and demonstrate a strong enthusiasm for learning more about the industry, as well as the ability to assess and recommend wines that best complement the restaurant's menu.

The successful candidate must be able to make informed and articulate recommendations of wines to customers in an engaging and informative manner. They will also need to have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build relationships with suppliers. Other duties include maintaining accurate records of inventory, orders, pricing, and discounts; ensuring that all wines served by the restaurant meet quality standards; monitoring expiration dates on all wines; updating wine lists regularly; and organizing wine tastings for customers.

The successful applicant must have a deep understanding of world wines, their regions, production methods, characteristics, styles, vintages, prices etc. They should also possess strong organizational skills with an eye for detail as well as excellent customer service skills. We are offering a salary of 1400 per month plus other benefits depending on experience, qualifications and nationality. We are open to considering candidates from abroad who wish to work in Dubai.
