Kindergarten Teacher Position in Abu-Dhabi

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Kindergarten Teacher to join our team at ABC Private School in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality instruction to students in the kindergarten classroom and preparing them for their transition to primary school.

Responsibilities:

• Create a safe and stimulating learning environment that promotes the social, physical and intellectual growth of students.
• Plan and implement activities that promote the social, physical, and intellectual development of kids, such as games, arts and crafts, music, sports, role-playing etc.
• Assess student progress using appropriate methods of evaluation (e.g., observations, portfolios).
• Assist with the development of individual education plans (IEPs) for each student as required.
• Develop individualized lesson plans which meet the needs of each student as much as possible.
• Develop positive relationships with parents to ensure effective communication about their child’s performance and progress.
• Supervise classroom volunteers/assistants on a regular basis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
• Previous experience teaching kindergarten preferred
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of each student individually
• Ability to assess student progress using appropriate methods (e.g., observations, portfolios)

Salary: 1000 AED per month; We are ready to consider a foreigner for this position.
