Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality medical care to children from infancy through adolescence. This includes physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medications, and providing counseling and educational support to parents. The pediatrician must have strong communication skills in order to provide patient education on healthy lifestyle practices as well as maintain excellent relationships with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare staff.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Degree in medicine from an accredited university • Current medical license in the State of Kuwait • Minimum 5 years' experience as a pediatrician • Proficiency in English language (oral & written) • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills • Thorough knowledge of preventative care principles
