Pharmacist – Sharjah

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate needs to be knowledgeable about medicines, have excellent customer service skills and be customer-focused. They will also need to be able to work well under pressure, have a keen eye for detail, and possess excellent communication and organisational skills.

The role would involve dispensing prescribed medications accurately and efficiently on behalf of medical practitioners, providing advice on possible side effects or problems that may arise from their use, as well as keeping up-to-date records of all medication dispensed. Other duties include answering queries from customers both face-to-face and over the phone, providing guidance on the appropriate use of over the counter medication, ordering stock regularly, ensuring safety protocols are followed when handling medicines, and advising customers on health matters where appropriate.

We are looking for a Pharmacist with a valid license from the relevant authorities in Sharjah. Preference will be given to candidates who have at least two years’ experience in a similar role. They should also be fluent in English and either Arabic or another local language. The successful candidate should have strong problem solving abilities as well as excellent interpersonal skills so they can quickly build relationships with customers.

The salary for this position is 1500 AED per month depending on experience and qualifications. We are willing to consider applications from immigrant candidates who meet the criteria outlined above.
