Job Title: Optometrist

Location: Al-Kuwait

Salary: 1800 KWD

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including vision examinations, contact lens fittings, and pre- and post-operative care. The Optometrist should be knowledgeable about the latest developments in the field of optometry and have excellent communication skills. This position requires a valid license to practice optometry and fluency in Arabic is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
• Examine patients’ eyes using various diagnostic equipment such as auto-refractors, keratometers, retinoscopes etc.
• Diagnose ocular diseases and conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration etc.
• Prescribe corrective lenses based on patients’ visual needs and lifestyle requirements
• Monitor patient progress over time to determine if additional treatment is necessary
• Provide guidance on vision care such as lifestyle modifications and preventive measures
• Maintain accurate patient records according to established protocols
• Perform administrative duties such as billing and scheduling appointments

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or related field from an accredited institution
• Valid license to practice optometry in Al-Kuwait
• Sound knowledge of current optometric techniques and technologies
• Proven ability to diagnose ocular diseases and provide corrective lenses prescriptions
