As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for operating machinery used in the production process by following established production procedures. Your duties will include setting up machines prior to operation, testing functioning of machinery after repairs or assembly work is complete, monitoring machine operations as well as performing minor repairs or maintenance work when necessary. Additionally you will be expected to inspect parts produced using measuring instruments such as calipers or micrometers and identify any defects or other irregularities during operation.

To be considered for this role you must have previous experience in operating various types of machinery such as drill presses, lathes, milling machines etc., as well as basic knowledge of mechanical principles and methods used in production processes. You must also possess good problem solving skills as well as manual dexterity and attention to detail in order to ensure accuracy of production results. Knowledge of safety procedures is also essential in order to avoid accidents or damage during operation.
