Job Description:
The Dietitian is responsible for providing nutrition counseling services to clients with different medical conditions. The dietitian will assess the nutritional needs of each client, develop nutritional plans tailored to their individual needs and monitor progress over time. The dietitian will also provide education on healthy eating habits and nutrition, as well as advice on lifestyle changes that can help improve overall health.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the position of Dietitian in Abu-Dhabi you must have a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field, at least one year of experience working as a dietician and certification by the local licensing authority. You should be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing, have excellent organizational skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Dietician is to provide nutrition counseling services to clients with different medical conditions. This includes assessing their nutritional needs, developing individualized plans tailored to their needs, monitoring progress over time and educating them on healthy eating habits and nutrition. Other responsibilities include keeping accurate records of client progress; providing feedback to physicians on patient progress; making referrals when necessary; creating educational materials; staying abreast of new developments in the field; attending conferences or seminars related to dietetics; participating in research projects; consulting with other healthcare professionals when needed; maintaining licensure requirements; working within government regulations related to nutrition services; and representing the organization at public events or meetings when needed.
