Job Responsibilities:
-Mix cement and other materials to create mortar or concrete
-Lay bricks or stones according to specifications, using mortar, trowels, levels, ties, etc.
-Repair or replace broken or cracked bricks or stones
-Construct arches and other structures from brick and stone
-Use tools such as hammers and chisels to cut bricks to size
Qualifications:
-At least 3 years of experience in masonry work (preferred)
-A good understanding of building codes and regulations
-Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, levels, ties, hammers, chisels etc.
-Ability to read blueprints and diagrams accurately
-Strong attention to detail with excellent problem solving skills
