Job Title: Sommelier

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Salary: 1400 AED per month

The Sommelier will be responsible for managing the beverage service operations in the restaurant. This includes selecting, purchasing, storing, and serving wines and other beverages. The Sommelier will also be responsible for providing wine education to guests and staff.

Responsibilities:
• Select wines and other beverages for the restaurant according to menu requirements
• Purchase wines and other beverages at wholesale prices
• Maintain a well-stocked inventory of wines and other beverages
• Train staff in wine service techniques and knowledge
• Provide guests with advice on food pairings with wines and other beverages
• Ensure compliance with all applicable food safety regulations
• Monitor wine trends in the industry to stay informed of new products on the market

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience as a sommelier or in a related role • Proven knowledge of different types of wines from around the world • Strong knowledge of food pairings with different types of drinks • Excellent customer service skills • Ability to work well under pressure • An immigrant is welcome to apply for this position
