Job Title: Librarian (India Nationals Only) - Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are currently searching for a professional Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will be an India national with relevant experience in library science. This position is urgent and will require the successful applicant to have accommodation provided, free visa, and ticket.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library catalogue, organizing library resources, developing and delivering information literacy initiatives, and providing reference services to patrons. Additionally, they will be required to maintain records of library usage and develop plans for the acquisition of new materials in line with educational requirements.

To qualify for this role, you must have a degree in Library Science or Information Science from an accredited institution and a minimum of one year's experience working in a library or similar setting. Additionally, you must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A strong understanding of computers and digital media is also required. Knowledge of any Indian language (in addition to English) is highly desirable but not essential.
