Job Description:
The Auto Mechanic is responsible for providing diagnostic services and repairs on cars and other types of vehicles. This includes inspecting, servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, electrical systems, air conditioning systems etc. The Auto Mechanic must maintain records of all work performed on each vehicle. He/She must also perform regular preventive maintenance checks to ensure that vehicles are in proper working order.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience as an auto mechanic or related field
- Ability to diagnose problems quickly and accurately
- Knowledge of safety practices when working with cars
- Excellent communication skills
