Optometrist Job Opening in Doha

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Optometrist to join our team in Doha. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing eye care services including eye examinations, contact lens fittings, and vision therapy. This position offers an annual salary of 1200. We are open to considering applicants from foreign countries.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Optometry from an accredited institution, and at least two years of experience working as an Optometrist. Candidates should be knowledgeable of the latest optometric practices and techniques, have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to communicate effectively with patients.

The Optometrist's primary duties include performing comprehensive eye examinations utilizing advanced diagnostic technology; fitting contact lens prescriptions; providing patient education on contact lenses, eyeglasses, and general eye health; diagnosing ocular conditions; managing chronic conditions such as glaucoma; referring patients to outside specialists as needed; and providing emergency care if necessary.

This is a full-time position with flexible hours (including weekends), so candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The right candidate must also have a valid license from the Qatar Council of Health Specialties (QCHS).
