Position: Barista

Location: Doha, Qatar

Salary: 1400 QAR

We are looking for an experienced Barista to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate should have a passion for coffee and have excellent customer service skills. We are open to considering a foreigner for this role.

The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee drinks, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing cash registers and maintaining cleanliness in the café.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve espresso-based beverages (e.g. latte, cappuccino, etc.) as well as other specialty drinks

- Take orders from customers and provide them with information about coffees, teas and pastries

- Monitor the quality of beverages served to customers; adjust preparation methods accordingly

- Receive payment from customers; process cash payments; operate cash registers

- Provide prompt and friendly customer service; build relationships with regular customers

- Maintain cleanliness of café, including counters, tables, shelves and equipment

- Follow health and safety regulations when handling food items

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Barista or similar position is preferred but not required

- Knowledge of coffee roasting techniques preferred but not required

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Excellent customer service skills

- Attention to detail when preparing beverages

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
