Sommelier Job in Dubai

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Sommelier to join our team in the vibrant city of Dubai. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the wine industry, and be able to demonstrate superior knowledge and expertise in all aspects of wine production and service.

Job Description:

The Sommelier will be responsible for selecting, purchasing and managing the inventory of wines, as well as maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism. They will be responsible for educating staff about the different types of wines, providing tasting notes on wines, recommending appropriate pairings with food orders, making recommendations to customers about the best wines for their taste preferences, and helping with cellar management duties. The Sommelier will also ensure compliance with all applicable laws regarding alcohol sales and service.

Demands for the Candidate:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the wine industry
• In-depth knowledge of different types of wines from around the world
• Ability to provide detailed tasting notes on each wine
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Knowledgeable about pairing food items with wines
