Salary: 1700 USD
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced optometrist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive, professional, and quality eye care services to our clients. Duties include, but are not limited to, conducting eye and vision exams; diagnosing and treating eye disorders; recommending glasses or contact lenses; recommending medical treatments; and educating patients about their vision health.

The ideal candidate will have an optometry degree from a reputable college or university and experience working as an optometrist. Candidates must be licensed to practice optometry in the UAE. Foreigners must possess a valid work permit and visa in order to apply.

The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have excellent customer service skills. The ability to multitask effectively is essential.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive eye exams for children and adults
• Diagnose vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, presbyopia etc.
• Prescribe glasses or contact lenses as needed
• Perform tests such as slit lamp exams or retinal imaging studies for diagnosis of ocular diseases
• Recommend medical treatments such as eye drops or surgeries when necessary
• Educate patients on proper vision care techniques

Qualifications:
• Degree in Optometry from a reputable college/university
• Licensure to practice optometry in the UAE (if applicable)
• Valid work permit and visa (for foreigners)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask effectively
