Job Title: Carpenter
Location: Doha, Qatar
Salary: 1500 QAR/Month

We are currently looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints, have knowledge of the tools and materials used in carpentry, as well as have a good understanding of safety procedures.

Responsibilities:
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
• Cut or saw boards and other materials to required shape and size using hand and power tools.
• Assemble cut and shaped materials to form structures according to specifications using nails, screws, dowels or glue.
• Fit windows frames, doorframes, door locks and other fixtures.
• Construct wooden objects such as shelves or furniture using hand or power tools.
• Install structures such as cupboards or shelves into buildings.
• Inspect places where repairs are needed and provide a quote for the job when requested.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• At least 2 years’ experience working as a carpenter is required for this position.
• Must be able to read blueprints accurately.
• Must have attention to detail when constructing items from wood.
• Must have knowledge of the different types of wood used in carpentry work as well as knowledge of the tools used in carpentry work (hand saws, power saws etc.).
• Must have a good understanding of safety protocols when handling sharp objects or working with power tools.
