Psychiatrist job in Doha Qatar


We are currently seeking a Psychiatrist to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating and managing various mental health conditions. The Psychiatrist will assess patients’ mental health and provide diagnoses, prescribe medication and therapy, counsel and support individuals through difficult periods in their lives, and manage cases of severe emotional or behavioural disturbance.

This position requires a professional with excellent interpersonal skills as well as an understanding of psychological treatments including psychotherapy, psycho-education, cognitive behavioral therapy and family therapy. You must also have experience working with adults and children. A valid medical degree is essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and have a passion for helping people, along with excellent communication skills. They should be able to work independently under minimal supervision while also being able to collaborate effectively with other members of the multidisciplinary team. In addition to this, we would prefer candidates who are experienced in managing complex cases involving multiple stakeholders.

The salary offered is 1500 QAR per month. We are open to considering foreign applicants for this role as well as those already based in Qatar. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
