We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The ideal candidate should have experience in optometry, including providing eye examinations, determining the presence of vision problems, and prescribing corrective lenses or other treatments.

The key responsibilities of the Optometrist role include:

• Conducting comprehensive eye exams, including tests to assess visual acuity, depth perception, color vision and peripheral vision.
• Diagnosing vision conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia.
• Prescribing corrective lenses such as contact lenses or eyeglasses to patients requiring vision correction.
• Counseling patients on contact lens maintenance and care and suggesting lifestyle modifications to prevent further vision degradation.
• Consulting with ophthalmologists or other medical professionals regarding patient care.
• Maintaining detailed records of patient care and progress.
• Performing minor surgical procedures such as foreign body removal from the eye or eyelid laceration repair.

The successful applicant must have a degree in optometry from a recognized university with at least two years' experience in the field and a valid license to practice optometry in Al-Kuwait. We are also willing to consider foreign applicants for this position with a salary of 1700 KD per month.
