Job Description:
• Dispense medications according to prescriptions and provide advice on their safe use
• Prepare individualized dosages of medication for patients based on their needs and doctor’s orders
• Answer customers’ questions about medications, potential side effects, and other health related concerns
• Monitor the inventory of drugs, chemicals, and other supplies used in the pharmacy to ensure that sufficient stocks are available at all times
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field from an accredited institution
• Proficient understanding of pharmaceutical drugs including dosage forms, therapeutic classes, interactions, contraindications, side effects, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
