As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for surveying land or soil to determine boundaries for construction or legal purposes. You will use aerial photography techniques to identify landmarks and measure distances between them. You will analyze topographical data using specialized computer software and prepare detailed reports of your findings. Additionally, you will evaluate data on land characteristics such as elevation, shape, surface features and record these observations accurately.

To be considered for this position you must have knowledge of surveying laws related to land boundaries as well as relevant engineering software programs. A degree in civil engineering or surveying is required; experience in field surveying is preferred but not essential. You should also have excellent problem solving abilities and strong communication skills in order to work with other professionals in the organization.
