Librarian vacancy in Dubai UAE

Librarian - English Speaking - Dubai, UAE (Indians Preferred)

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our library collections and providing research and reference services to library users.
The ideal candidate should have a degree in Library Science or Information Science, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Familiarity with library databases and software is also desired. An ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds is essential for success in this role. Preference will be given to those who are of Indian nationality or origin.
The successful candidate’s duties will include the following:
• Organizing and cataloguing library collections;
• Providing reference services to patrons;
• Assisting patrons with research projects;
• Developing programs to promote the use of library resources;
• Maintaining accurate records of library materials;
• Recommending resource materials for purchase;
• Managing the circulation of library materials;
• Updating online databases.
