Job Summary:

We are looking for an Anesthesiologist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Abu-Dhabi. As the Anesthesiologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive anesthetic care to patients before, during and after surgery. This includes preoperative assessment, administering anesthesia, and monitoring the patient’s safety and comfort throughout the procedure. In this role, you will also be responsible for managing the patient’s pain relief needs before, during and after surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Provide preoperative assessment and anesthesia services for patients before surgery
• Administer anesthesia as required according to a patient’s needs
• Monitor a patient’s vital signs continuously throughout the procedure
• Manage a patient’s pain relief needs before, during and after surgery
• Respond promptly to any medical emergencies that may occur during surgery
• Collaborate with surgeons in selecting appropriate anesthetic techniques
• Educate patients on post-operative care instructions
• Manage post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) operations as required
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Anesthesiology or related field is required
• Certification from American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond quickly to medical emergencies
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients on post-operative care instructions
