Requirements for the Position:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in purchasing or supply chain management
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions quickly
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel) is preferred
Job Duties:
• Identify potential suppliers, evaluate offers, negotiate prices, and negotiate terms with suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance in quality, delivery, cost, payment terms, etc. • Monitor progress of orders from placement to delivery at customers’ premises • Develop relationships with new/existing suppliers by participating in meetings and trade shows • Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock levels and forecasting future demand
