Position: Psychiatrist


Requirements:
• MD or equivalent qualification in Psychiatry from an accredited institution;
• Board certification in Psychiatry or eligibility for certification;
• Licensed to practice medicine in Doha or eligible for licensure;
• A minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in a Psychiatry setting;
• Fluency in English language. Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.

Job Description:
The Psychiatrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to individuals with mental health problems. The Psychiatrist will be responsible for the following duties:
• Provide psychiatric assessments, diagnosis and treatment services to individuals with mental health problems;
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address identified needs and provide ongoing monitoring of progress;
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive mental health services;
• Participate in team meetings and other interdisciplinary activities as needed;
• Ensure patient safety by utilizing appropriate risk management principles and guidelines;
• Document all clinical activities according to standard protocols.

Salary Information: 1100/month
