Truck driver vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE

Truck Driver - Abu-Dhabi, UAE

We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Abu-Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate should have experience driving a heavy truck in the UAE and be familiar with the roads of Abu-Dhabi. The job involves transporting goods from one location to another and requires a valid driver's license. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in driving trucks in the UAE and Indian nationalities. Fluency in English is not required for this role.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Operating a heavy truck with an understanding of safety rules, regulations and practices;
• Inspecting trucks for mechanical items and safety issues;
• Loading and unloading goods;
• Keeping records of trips made including delivery documents, fuel expenses, vehicle logs and other necessary paperwork;
• Following all applicable laws and maintaining accurate log books;
• Navigating routes using GPS devices or maps;
• Ensuring cargo is secured correctly on vehicles before departure;
• Monitoring road conditions and providing regular updates to the dispatch team.
