The Mechanical Engineer would be responsible for designing and developing new mechanical products from conception to completion. This includes conducting research on materials, determining specifications and producing prototypes. They will also analyze test data to verify performance requirements, document design details and troubleshoot any problems that arise during production. The Mechanical Engineer will be required to review product designs for manufacturability, quality consistency and cost efficiency in order to ensure the delivery of efficient solutions that meet customer needs.

The successful candidate must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field as well as experience with engineering design processes (CAD). They should have strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems while considering multiple factors such as cost, safety, reliability, etc. They must also be able to communicate effectively with other departments such as production or marketing in order to ensure the successful completion of projects. Knowledge of automated manufacturing processes such as CNC machining is also desirable but not essential.
