Job Title: Optometrist

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive and professional optometric service to our customers. This includes performing eye examinations, fitting contact lenses, and providing advice about corrective eyewear.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Carry out routine eye examinations in accordance with professional and legal standards
• Assess patient’s vision requirements and provide appropriate advice on corrective eyewear
• Fit contact lenses according to patient’s needs using advanced techniques and tools
• Provide accurate diagnosis of ocular conditions and refer cases to specialists as necessary
• Maintain accurate records of patient evaluations, diagnoses, treatments, services, and progress notes
• Keep up to date with the latest developments in optics technology and optometric treatments
• Educate patients on eye health issues, preventative care, and related topics.
Job Requirements:
• A valid license or certification as an Optometrist from a recognized educational institution or board of optometry
• Experience working as an Optometrist or similar role preferred but not mandatory
• Familiarity with current optical technology including diagnostic testing equipment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information in a clear manner
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations
• Strong attention to detail for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
