Job Title: Welder
Location: Doha, Qatar
Salary: 1600 QR/Month

We are looking for a highly skilled Welder to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a successful candidate for this position, you will be responsible for carrying out welding tasks in accordance with established safety rules and standards. You must have the ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints and possess the necessary technical skills to ensure proper welds are completed.

Responsibilities:
• Use various welding processes including MIG, TIG, ARC, Plasma arc cutting, Oxy-fuel cutting, etc., to weld steel components according to blueprints or specifications.
• Inspect welds and ensure that they meet quality standards.
• Prepare worksites by cleaning them of any debris or hazardous materials.
• Ensure that safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
• Monitor machines during operation to detect any abnormalities or malfunctions.
• Maintain records of completed welding tasks according to company standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a welder with 5+ years’ experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
• Completion of a formal welding course is preferred but not essential
• Working knowledge of welding processes such as MIG/TIG/ARC/Plasma Arc Cutting/Oxy-Fuel Cutting etc.
• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings accurately and precisely
• Aptitude for problem solving and attention to detail
• Physical strength and stamina to perform physical labour for long hours as required
