We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Sommelier to join our team in our restaurant located in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have a passion for wine and experience in tasting, stocking, and selling wine. The successful candidate will be able to provide excellent customer service, recommend fine wines, and ensure the smooth operations of our restaurant’s wine program.

The Sommelier will be responsible for selecting the wines for the restaurant’s menu and ensuring that they are of high quality. They will also be responsible for establishing relationships with vendors and wineries to purchase wines at a competitive price. Additionally, the Sommelier will conduct tastings with customers, teach classes about different types of wines, inform staff about how to properly store wine, and serve as a resource for customers who need help selecting a bottle of wine.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills as they will need to interact with customers on a daily basis. A thorough knowledge of different types of wines is necessary as well as the ability to read labels and select the best bottles from different wineries. An understanding of food pairings is also preferred so that the Sommelier can recommend certain wines that complement certain dishes.

We are willing to consider applicants who are not from Dubai but must have valid work authorization as well as strong references. The salary for this position is 1400 per month depending on experience and qualifications.
