We are seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide clear vision and eye health services to our patients. This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in optometry and a passion for helping others.

The ideal candidate must possess a degree in optometry or related field, with at least two years of experience as an optometrist. They are also required to have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Additionally, they must be able to assess patients' visual needs, evaluate eye health, prescribe lenses and eyeglasses, provide counseling on contact lenses, and recommend vision therapy when needed.

In this role, the Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye exams for adults and children; diagnose vision problems such as nearsightedness or astigmatism; refer patients to ophthalmologists or other specialists when necessary; use specialized equipment such as retinoscopes and ophthalmoscopes; match frames with facial features; provide advice on lens selection; dispense eyeglasses or contact lenses according to prescription; and check lens fit.

The successful candidate should have a valid license from the local health authority in Abu-Dhabi to practice optometry. We are willing to consider foreigners for this position, provided that all applicable visa requirements have been met. The salary for this position is 1800 AED per month.
