Job Description:
The Construction Manager will be responsible for the coordination and supervision of all construction activities on site. This includes planning the construction process, managing resources, ensuring safety standards are adhered to, and ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget. The Construction Manager will also be responsible for negotiating contracts with contractors, resolving disputes between contractors/subcontractors, liaising with stakeholders and project owners, providing technical advice on construction matters, and overseeing quality control throughout the duration of the project.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field
• 5+ years’ experience in construction management roles
• Knowledge of local building codes/regulations
• Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate teams
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
