Psychiatrist – Doha, Qatar (1600 QAR per month)

We are seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will provide psychiatric care for patients in the clinic and hospital settings.

Requirements:
• MD degree or equivalent in Psychiatry from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Psychiatry
• Minimum 3 years’ experience practicing as a Psychiatrist
• Fluent in both English and Arabic (preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with diverse populations of all ages and cultural backgrounds
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Willingness to travel if necessary
• Valid medical license or eligibility for licensure in the State of Qatar

Job Description:
The Psychiatrist will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with mental health issues. This includes conducting initial patient assessments, providing medication management, psychotherapy, collaborating with other members of the healthcare team, keeping comprehensive medical records on each patient, referring patients to other specialists when appropriate. The role also requires providing crisis intervention services while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws.
