Job Summary

We are looking for a Sommelier with extensive wine knowledge to join our team in Dubai. This position offers a salary of 900 and we are ready to consider foreign applicants. The ideal candidate should have minimal work experience but be passionate about wine and the art of tasting it. The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting quality wines, providing expert advice on wine pairing, and ensuring a superior level of customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities
-Advise customers on selection of wines, taking into account their individual tastes and preferences
-Suggest food and wine pairings that will enhance the customer's dining experience
-Provide detailed information about wines, wineries, vintages, regions etc.
-Organize tastings in order to promote sales of wines
-Develop relationships with suppliers in order to ensure access to the best quality wines at competitive prices
-Keep up to date with market trends and new products
-Ensure compliance with safety standards when handling wine bottles and glasses

Qualifications & Requirements
-Minimum qualification: Certifications from a recognized Sommelier school is preferred but not required
-Passionate about wine; knowledgeable about different grape varieties, vintages, regions etc.
-Excellent customer service skills; able to create an enjoyable experience for customers
-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
-Strong communication skills; able to explain complex issues in a clear manner
