Librarian (Malayalee, Own Visa, Dubai, UAE)

We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in Dubai, UAE. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection of books and other publications. You will also be responsible for cataloging and organizing the collection, providing assistance to patrons, supervising library staff and volunteers, and assisting with research activities.

The ideal candidate is a Malayalee resident of the UAE with an own visa who has experience in library management and is familiar with modern library tools and techniques. You must have excellent organizational skills and be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of Malayalam language is required.

Responsibilities include:
• Cataloging and organizing library materials
• Overseeing daily operations of the library
• Supervising library staff
• Providing reference assistance to patrons
• Assisting with research activities
• Developing programming for patrons
• Managing budgets and acquisitions
• Training volunteers

Skills:
• Knowledge of Malayalam language
