The primary responsibilities of the Bank Teller will include performing cash transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments etc., selling banking products such as loans/credit cards/foreign exchange/insurance etc., providing customer service such as responding to inquiries about bank services/facilities etc., following safety procedures and verifying customer information. The Bank Teller must also ensure accuracy in all transactions and be able to handle customer complaints in a professional manner while complying with local laws/regulations/policies & procedures.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience working as a Bank Teller or in a similar role within the banking industry. They must possess good mathematical skills, be detail-oriented, demonstrate excellent customer service skills, have an understanding of general accounting principles and good communication skills (both verbal & written). Knowledge of computer applications (MS Office) is also desirable.
