Job Description:

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team in Dubai. As our Accountant, you will be expected to take charge of the preparation, maintenance, and evaluation of financial records for our company.

Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and maintaining financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, trial balances, and depreciation reports
- Calculating taxes and preparing tax returns
- Reconciling accounts receivable/payable and bank statements
- Preparing monthly closing entries
- Maintaining accurate general ledger accounts
- Analyzing financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures
- Identifying trends in accounting data and generating reports accordingly
- Assisting with budget preparation activities
- Developing internal control policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA/CA/CMA certification preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles required; experience in a managerial role is a plus
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
