PHP Developer – Abu Dhabi

We are looking for a talented and experienced PHP Developer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have experience developing websites, web applications and software solutions using PHP. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an exciting and innovative environment with a competitive salary of 1600 AED. We are also open to considering immigrant candidates for this role.

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Develop, maintain and support existing and new web-based applications using PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, MySQL and other related technologies;
• Design database schemas;
• Create detailed technical specifications;
• Support the design of user interfaces;
• Optimize database performance;
• Follow development best practices;
• Monitor and respond to system errors;
• Develop unit tests for code developed.

The ideal candidate should have:

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a PHP developer;
• Working knowledge of software development best practices including unit testing, version control (GIT), bug tracking systems (JIRA); • Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns; • Understanding of MVC frameworks such as Codeigniter or Laravel; • Excellent problem-solving skills; • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
