Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Al-Kuwait! The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and executing the daily operations of the logistics department. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem solving and communication skills as well as experience in supply chain management.

Job Description:
• Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the logistics department
• Research and analyze new methods to improve logistics efficiency
• Develop strategies to reduce transportation costs
• Monitor stock levels of materials and supplies
• Ensure shipments are delivered on time according to customer requirements
• Manage relationship with transport vendors
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and legislation
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred but not required; we are ready to consider an immigrant with no experience
• Knowledge of logistics software such as SAP or WMS systems is a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent problem solving skills with strong attention to detail
Salary: 1100 KD per month
