Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including vision assessments, eyeglass or contact lens prescriptions, and vision therapy. Additionally, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating eye diseases.

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of two years of experience as an optometrist and hold a current professional license. This position offers a competitive salary of 1100 per month and we are open to considering immigrants for the position.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive eye exams, including visual acuity tests, refraction assessments, intraocular pressure tests, and ophthalmoscopy evaluations.
• Provide advice on eyewear selection and contact lens fittings.
• Prescribe medications to treat ocular disorders or diseases such as glaucoma or conjunctivitis.
• Diagnose and treat common eye diseases like cataracts or macular degeneration.
• Educate patients on proper vision care techniques such as how to clean contact lenses properly.
• Refer patients to ophthalmologists if needed for further diagnosis or treatment.

Requirements:  
  • A valid optometrist license from the Al-Kuwait licensing board
  • A minimum of two years’ experience working as an optometrist  
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledgeable in ophthalmology practices and procedures
  • Ability to provide high quality customer service
