Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the vision, eye health and general well-being of patients. In addition, the candidate will provide advice to patients on how to care for their eyes and use corrective lenses.

The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience working as an Optometrist, and must possess a valid license to practice optometry in Qatar. We are open to considering foreign applicants as well. The salary offered is 1100 QR/month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations
- Assess level of vision and eye health of patients
- Identify signs of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration
- Prescribe appropriate corrective lenses or medical treatments
- Provide advice on how to use corrective lenses or other treatments correctly
- Document patient information in patient records
- Refer patients to other medical specialists if needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or related field
- Valid license to practice optometry in Qatar (for foreign applicants)
- At least 3 years of experience working as an Optometrist
