The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an excavator, ensuring safety standards are met and that all work is carried out efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities
Our new Excavator Operator will be responsible for performing all excavation work safely and efficiently while adhering to safety regulations at all times. This includes operating the excavator in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications, performing daily maintenance checks on the machine, loading materials into/out of the excavator, handling hazardous materials correctly, and identifying any potential hazards or risks associated with the job site. The operator must also keep accurate records of each job site including hours worked, materials used, etc., as well as ensure that all tasks are completed within deadlines set by management.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position you must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent with experience operating an excavator in a safe manner; knowledge of construction standards; problem solving skills; ability to interpret plans & diagrams; physical fitness; excellent communication skills; valid driver's license; attention to detail; good organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality of workmanship; willingness to learn new techniques & methods; knowledge of relevant safety regulations & procedures including OSHA compliance requirements; proficiency in English language (reading & writing). Additionally it is preferred but not mandatory that applicants have experience working in an international setting or have received specialized training related to excavation work - such as CSCS card holders or equivalent certificate holders from other countries.
